Old Wine with New Wine

New Wine Generation

I have had such a sense of Heaven’s anticipation over the army that is being set apart and prepared for what is coming upon our nation Australia, and upon the world.

I can sense such a stillness in the spiritual atmosphere, like a breath is being held in suspense, and the ebbing of the tide before the wave of spiritual cleansing and awakening rushes in.

The Lord has been impressing on me the roar of the Lion of Judah calling out for a New Wine generation.  A new breed of annointed ones, of all ages, all backgrounds and all giftings coming together to worship in spirit and truth. Moving all in one unity with eyes fixed upon their King.

This New Wine Generation have hearts that are sold out for Jesus, there is no other motive in their hearts.

This Generation will walk in the ways of King Hezekiah (2 Kings 18), pulling down the idols in the high places that the generations before him refused to demolish becasue they feared what ‘the people’ (Israel- God’s congregation) would think.

King Hezekiah was young, only 25 years of age. His father Ahaz displeased the Lord during a time when God’s people worshipped the God of Israel but they would not give up their idols.

However the young King Hezekiah looked to David, as man after God’s own heart, as his standard and King.

The Lord has been speaking to me about these New Winers who will look to Jesus as their standard and their King as Hezekiah did with David.

They will worship only Yahweh, and unlike generations before them, they will pull down the idols of the high places that were tolerated and accepted.

Many of these idols will be the old ways of doing ‘God’s work’. Man created traditions and formats. Programs and ceremonies that focus on carnal works, ideaologys that enforce religiousity and ideals.

These idols are like old wine skins. They cannot hold the New Wine that is coming because the New Wine brings liberty, it brings freedom, and it overflows with love and power. Old traditions and formats cannot hold the new move of God coming upon the earth. I believe that some of the Old Winse Skins will be the buidlings, the ‘church ceremonies’ and the ministry programs that have been used and facilitated in the decades, even centuries, gone by

BUT! Praise God for the Old Wine. While the old wine skins are  cast away, the Old Wine is rich, matured and of great value. Those who are carrying the Old Wine are of invaluable worth to the Kingdom of God. Wine that has become rich in the knowledge of God, wine that is matured through the process of being made and enriched by God’s hand.

The New Wine and the Old Wine are both of great worth in this season.

The maturity and the depth of those who hold Old Wine who have gone before will be so vital for this New Wine generation. The freshness and new anointing of the New Winers is necessary for the Old Wine generation to see the harvest and the fruition of all that they have sown, watered and prayed for.

Both are parts of the body, both have God’s love and purpose.

1 Corinthians 3:6-9                                                                                 I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

I see a new generation that is fearless and ready to die to self, a move of feet outside of church walls- in the streets, in the marketplaces and going house to house with the undiluted gospel burning in their hearts.

Voices that will not be quieted, feet that will not be stopped, hands that will bleed with the love of Jesus, eyes that are unmoving from their King and hearts that are unadulterated by the things of this world.

There is a roar that is coming from the Heavenlies gathering a New Wine Generation that has not been seen before, ushering in a new era, with all voices crying in one accord “Give me Jesus.”
